Did you know, autism is often associated with a range of enhanced skills or strengths that plenty of popular superheroes possess?

Sustained Concentration, Managing Complexity, Attention to detail, Faster Problem Solving, Honesty and Loyalty.

So there you have it, autistic people can possess superpowers 🦸‍♂️

You guys, I’m going to drop a quick DYK.

Did you know, that Wanting to wear the same clothes all the time may be considered a “rigid” or “repetitive” behavior? It is possible the child wants the same clothes or the same shoes, not because he/she is hypersensitive to the physical sensation but because he/she is hypersensitive to change.

This is an older post, but still a good one 💙♥️🕷

Autism has many different faces. Many different symptoms, obsessions and behaviors. On certain days and with day to day activities, autism can be hidden, on others, it's the elephant in the room. This week that elephant is here! And in the shape of a Spiderman costume. One that's been worn 3 days straight now! But he loves spiderman. And I'm proud of his costume. Proud, because not every mother's son is a superhero. And mine is, In more ways than one❤️
