This is Nela 💗 Her mom Sammie loved Nela so very much! Nela looks so soft and gentle, like she had the best purr and loved to cuddle.
I had the honor of painting Nela's portrait, along with several others of Sammie's beloved pets over the years. It warms my heart to create something meaningful for others, that evokes warm memories of loves passed. Thank you, Sammie!

I am proud to actively work with the 501(c)3 rescue organization Forgotten Purrs here in my community of Klein, TX! This rescue's mission, spear-headed by a force of nature known as Kristine, specifically provides safety, food and medical care to stray and neglected cats. There are so many feral cats around us, so the work this rescue does helps to curb their population through TNR and help the most needy among them.
