Today's cooler weather has me ready for my holiday cards.

This gorgeous set is from My Pretty Things by Erin Thompson
I love how easy it was to color these florals. Using the coordinating stencils and blending brushes from the shop. Traditional Christmas colors for an elegant look. I used Catherine Pooler Designs inks. They are my favorite inks to use for blending and stencils!

So much holiday joy with this card make.

What's your favorite color combo for Christmas? I like both traditional and non traditional colors.

Today is the beginnings of a project. Im currently under the weather. What a beautiful time to sit in this message of his grace being sufficient. Some days do not look like others with life. So practicing grace for myself is vital. Im thankful that God has more than enough grace. His days do not look like my days. He is more than enough when I am depleted. Im trying my hand in cross 0stitching. Its not perfect but the process of learning is healing. Im using this beautiful image from Creative Worship Stamps . I have also joined in with Michelle Cox this month. I look forward to learning more.

I love that the cooler season brings a different pace. A slower pace and time of reflecting. Plenty of opportunities to be still and sitting in his presence. The first layer of untouched snow is so peaceful to me. I am using the positive and negative cuts of this new Snowflakes Dies from Creative Worship Stamps.

Today project I am doing a chalkboard background technique. Using inspiration from Tim Holtz. Ive been really drawn to the color green this month. So im loving the black, white and green pallette. My study focus has been in Psalm 23. When I get depleted I tend to sit in this psalm from David. The portion where he makes me lie down in green pastures stood out. I read somewhere that sheep do not lie down when restless or dealings of fear. In order for a sheep to be at peace and lie down. The shepherd will provide food and safety. This resonates with me deeply. I know I tend to be very much like this is times of trouble, unrest and fear. But God reminds me that He will lie me down by green pastures. That He supplies my daily bread and spiritual nourishment. In great abundance and I shall not want in any of these areas. Giving thanks and reverence today. What a beautiful word. Abundance.

Hello sweet crafty friends.

Happy Saturday.

Todays project is a continuation of my prayer cards yesterday. I was able to spend some time with scripture writing and a list of thanks.

My focus was in Psalm 23:1-6 says
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

🍂🙏 Friends in Faith Hop — Sweet Hour of Prayer 🙏🍂

There is something so peaceful about stepping away from the busyness of life and spending a sweet hour in prayer. In the quiet, we can bring our worries, our gratitude, our hopes, and our hearts before the Lord. ❤️

This week, we’re sharing creations inspired by “Sweet Hour of Prayer.” May each card be a little reminder of the comfort, strength, and peace we find when we pause and talk with God.

Today I made a couple of prayer card inserts for my Bible. Using Creative Worship Stamps beautiful stamps. What a beautiful time in prayer giving thanks to the one who provides. Such a peace filled morning talking to the one who has all the answers. The comfort of knowing that even when I do not know. I absolutely have knowledge that He will provide as promised in his word. The valley of todays worry is just a fleeting moment. Prayer takes me back to the point were he tells me that he will provide. As he is walking me through the valley. That the valley is not a fixed point. God is. It takes active faith and seeking the one who created us. How do I get to know him? By giving thanks and praise daily in prayer. Drawing near to the one who is in the details. I pray that no matter what season you are in that you keep seeking and moving towards Jesus. Hugging you in my prayers sweet friends.

Hello sweet crafty friends.

Happy Monday.

I am sharing my scripture writing using Creative Retreat Threshold of Thanks faith kit.

The devotional is so good. Man did it tug on my heart. I had a full creative layout planned but God had different plans today. As im writing out Colossians 3:12-17. A song came to my heart. 10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman. I couldn't stop worshipping and singing and writing out his words. Then I started writing out the song lyrics. Uninterrupted time singing, praising, praying and giving thanks. 10,000 reasons of blessings to give thanks for and many more.

Exactly what I needed this morning. A refreshing of my soul and reminder to have gratitude. I woke up restless and now im renewed. God is so good in so many ways seen and unseen. Take refuge in his presence. "And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. " Colossians 3:15
