A little transparency now that it is officially September 1st… 🍂🎃🖤

You would THINK I’d be over here losing my mind because my absolute FAVORITE season is finally here. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas… the crafting possibilities are ENDLESS.

But instead, do you know what my brain is doing?

Thinking about HOW FAST IT’S GOING TO BE OVER. 😭😂

Like ma’am… it JUST GOT HERE.

I’m already thinking, “What the hell am I gonna craft after Christmas?!” 😂 What if I run out of ideas?! What if I run out of things to make?! Nothing hits the same as spooky stuff, pumpkins, turkeys, Christmas trees, Santa, glitter, ghosts and all the cute holiday chaos.

Then here comes Valentine’s Day. 💕
Okayyyy… hearts. Couples. Love. We get it. 🙄😂
And yes, I’m in love, so don’t start. 😂

Then Easter comes hopping along with that damn Easter Bunny and his creepy little pastel cousins. 🐰🥴 Yuck. Easter has just never been my thing.

If I had it my way, we could make HalloThanksMas crafts FOREVER. 🎃🦃🎄

But I guess that’s exactly WHY I love this time of year so much. It doesn’t last forever.

So instead of worrying about how quickly it’s going to be gone, I’m going to TRY to embrace every second of it. Make all the things. Decorate everything. Enjoy every pumpkin, ghost, turkey and Christmas light while I can.

Because I already know… I’m gonna blink and it’ll be January. 😭

A little reminder about Bitter Sweet Essentials cuz I know I’m confusing yall 🤣💕🐝

I LOVE crafting. I love finding a design, getting an idea in my head, making it, changing it 47 times 😂 and finally getting it exactly how I want it.

But here’s the thing… I’m a perfectionist AND a procrastinator at the same time. 😂 That is not a good combination when somebody gives me a custom order and a deadline!

One of my biggest dreams used to be opening a cute little boutique in Old Town Spring or having a booth somewhere like Traders Village where I could just create, create, create and sell whatever I made. And honestly, I still love that idea.

What I’ve realized, though, is that taking custom orders takes the FUN out of crafting for me. Suddenly something I enjoy becomes a job with deadlines, expectations, pressure and me stressing over every tiny detail because I want it perfect.

So that’s just not what I want Bitter Sweet Essentials to be anymore. 💗

I want to craft because I feel like crafting. I want to experiment, learn, mess things up, perfect my skills and enjoy myself without worrying about whether something has to be finished by Friday.

That being said… if I make it and I have it in stock, ABSOLUTELY I’ll sell it! 😂🙌🏼 So when you see me posting shirts, sweaters, tumblers or whatever else I’ve gotten myself into that week, if I say it’s available, grab it!

But custom shirts with names, special requests and deadline dates? Not my ministry right now. 😂

For now, Bitter Sweet Essentials is my creative outlet not another job. And I think I’m going to enjoy it a whole lot more that way. 💕🐝

Right now I’m into making Dolly merch and Halloween decor, & that phase will pass after October for sure! Come November it will be fall vibes, then Christmas and so on. Idk what ima be into after the new year besides Valentine’s Day & Easter but hey, as long as I’m enjoying my hobby and learning something new along the way, Im doing exactly what I wanted to do & I’m doing it STRESS-Free. No pressure looks great on me. No Botox needed 🤪 -Ve

I absolutely LOVE crafting, it’s my little creative escape! 🩷✨ But I’m not looking to turn it into another full-time job 😂, so I won’t be taking personalized or custom orders.

BUT anything I already have in stock and on hand, I’m more than happy to press and sell! 👕☕️💖

I don’t plan on selling crafts or taking large orders. This is my hobby, so I’m keeping it fun! 😂 I may keep a few things in stock, and I’m happy to make small orders for family & friends, think 1–2 mugs, tumblers, or cute holiday gifts. 🎁

I CAN print sublimation designs for you to press yourself! I’ll even show you how. 🙌🏽 You’ll need a heat press or another machine that provides enough heat + pressure, an iron will NOT work.
