Dear friend,

Have I really been writing these letters for thirty years? When I first bought the bookshop, we had a little print newsletter that my sons helped me fold and stamp. It's now a full-on production with the whole staff contributing.

It is our anniversary week. On Friday, we are opening our doors to welcome all of our alumni to stop in for a hug and some long-anticipated conversation. You—all of our wonderful neighbors—are invited, too. Come say hello. Tell me your favorite bookstore memories. Or share which titles from our just-concluded "30 for 30" reading challenge were your favorites—you know I love to talk about books. I look forward to seeing you.

Celebrate National Book Month with your class by starting a new book. Email MST pictures of your class reading one of the books their shows are based on this season. ⭐ If your class's picture is chosen, they’ll send you special MST bookmarks for your students to use for their reading!
