Hello Legionnaires of American Legion Post 316 - and all women veterans who read this!

Please know that YOU as a woman veteran are a very important figure in the history of our nation - as well as an important role model for our future! Women have served proudly in the military dating back to the American Revolution....many with the same duties and under the same flag as men! This nation owes us a huge debt of gratitude.

One of the most impressive aspects of our service is that we have continued to be involved in our community especially through your service in American Legion Post 316!

Thank you for serving in American Legion Post 316! Your pride in your service is a tremendous source of patriotism in the communities we serve. And as you continue to provide leadership in your community, please know that our leadership is here to help in any way we can.

Because you stood up and said, I will serve, too - our nation is stronger - our
freedoms run deeper - our liberty is richer. God bless you for everything you have
