Heartmade Art Market is a juried art market. Our tag line, “design for happiness,” is exactly how we like to do things. ‪We think small actions add up to big results, so we’re putting the hearts of Houston’s ta

lented artists to work for the benefit of local non-profit organizations and the community at large.‬

Heartmade artists are among the best ambassadors of the Houston art community, and we always want to make sure they are able to find success. We designed this market to ensure that both the artists and the charity would come out on top. Booth fees go directly to the charity, leaving the artists free to make their sales knowing the “heartwork” is already taken care of.

We know the weather looks a little bleak today ⛈️ but our Heartmade artists are getting ready for a great market tomorrow! 🎉🙌 We expect the rain to clear out 🌬️ in the early morning leaving us with a nice cool day for shopping and lots of FREE activities 🌥️🛍️ 💖 Please join us in Market Square Park from 11 am to 5 pm with more than 40 regional artists, makers, and creatives, mimosas all day, , floral photo booth and flower crown station by , interactive activities for kids by , lawn games, and more! Don’t forget that $100 of each booth fee went to support and the amazing work they do for the Houston art community 💕

It’s market week!! We can’t believe how the time has flown. Make sure to come see us on Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm at Market Square Park!
There is no way we can put on this fantastic market without a lot of help, so please join us in giving kudos to those who support !
Our amazing event partner deals with all the logistics of the location, the infrastructure, and awesome programming. They are moving mountains to make the spaces in downtown Houston come alive and are great supporters of local artists and talent. We have been so thankful for their partnership and we are looking forward to many more … love you guys! 💕
Shout out to our volunteers! On market day, they are the ones running around and delivering water, problem-solving, and helping our artists. We can’t be every where at once and their participation is crucial! Make sure to show them some love if you see them sporting their shirts!
Special recognition goes to our other halves, Karl and Rez, who do so much to support us while we wrangle all the details! You can find in his own booth on the lawn and Karl will be running around all day, look for the real tall chatty guy with the hat. We love you!💋

Each market we pick a worthy beneficiary in the local community and we are so pleased to be supporting Art League Houston with $5000 from our spring market! 💕
ALH connects the community through diverse, dynamic, and creative experiences that bring people together to see, make, and talk about contemporary art. They are dedicated to ensuring their exhibitions, education, and community-based programs are inclusive and reflective of Houston’s diverse community at large. We can’t think of a better mission to receive the benefit of the market’s proceeds.
Be on the lookout for more information about the programming that has planned. We’ll also be posting pics of the big check handoff at the event. We know it’s a little cheesy, but it gives us all the warm fuzzies! 🤗
To date, Heartmade artists have raised more than $58,300 for worthy charities serving the greater Houston community. Past market beneficiaries include The Periwinkle Foundation, Young Audiences of Houston, Friends for Life, Artists for Artists, and Hoof Prints and Heart Beats. As we head into our 8th year of events, we will continue to focus on working exclusively with charitable organizations that support arts programming. We’re so proud of the “heartwork” we’ve done! 🎨💖
