Throwback Thursday....all the way back to the 1730’s with a beautiful Guarneri del Gesu.

We were fortunate to have this rare violin in the shop yesterday which had an open seam (yes, even a Guarneri gets the occasional open seam!) Of course, we did what all violin makers do and spent the afternoon admiring it and examining every detail we could absorb. What a truly inspiring violin!
