🚨 What's on the Wall...Thursday? 🤔😂

Apparently, our schedule has a working drawbridge too, because Wednesday somehow got raised and sailed right past us! 🌉🚢

So, for this week's totally-on-time (give or take 24 hours) What's on the Wall Wednesday, we're featuring the legendary LEGO® Creator Expert Tower Bridge™ (Set 10214)!

With a whopping 4,295 pieces, an opening drawbridge, and over 40 inches of London landmark goodness, this retired masterpiece is proof that some things are worth the wait. (just like this post) 😅🌉 🇬🇧

Whether you're an architecture fan, a collector of retired sets, or just appreciate a bridge that's better at staying on schedule than we are, this one is an absolute showstopper. Tower Bridge™ was originally released in 2010 and retired after an impressive nine-year run, making it one of the most iconic large-scale LEGO® display sets ever. 🌟

Look, the couch is comfortable. We get it.

But, here's why our LEGO® SPACE Camp for kids beats staying home this summer:

🧠 They'll actually use their brain. No screens. Just hands-on rocket building, creative problem-solving, and real imagination at work.

🤝 They'll make real friends. Nothing bonds kids faster than launching a rocket together.

🚀 The friendships built during our summer camps last way past summer.

💙 A big BAMM thank you to our incredible BAMM Family.

Yesterday reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of this neighborhood. The messages on social media, the phone calls, the texts, the hugs, the customers who came in to shop, the lunch that was dropped off, and even the helping hands that showed up to tape up the door, every act of kindness meant more than we can put into words.

During a difficult and uncertain time, you wrapped us in support, encouragement, and love. Your generosity lifted our spirits and reminded us why we're dedicated to building up our neighborhood. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

We're still trying to understand exactly what we've been caught up in, but we're hopeful that a fair and amicable resolution will come soon. In the meantime, we're focusing on what matters most: the amazing community that continues to stand beside us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our BAMM Family.

For those keyboard warriors who are upset with BAM Corporate: know that we are, too.

We don't understand this situation any better than you do, and we've voiced our concerns and distrust many times over the past several weeks. However, we are under contract, and it’s not as easy as some people assume to break away from Corporate. While some people may think it's acceptable to ignore or break the law, that's not who we are. We choose to support our community, stay positive, and do the best we can with the circumstances we're facing.

Corporate knows we're upset. Corporate knows we have serious concerns about their leadership. But when someone breaks my door or vandalizes my store, I'm the one who pays for it. I’m the one who sweeps up glass and cleans up the bloody mess left behind.

I can guarantee that encouraging vandalism at the individual store level does not affect Corporate at all.

It affects the firefighter who spent more than 20 years serving this neighborhood before retiring and trying to stay involved in the community through this business. It affects the six-year-old and his friends who came to celebrate a birthday and had to tiptoe around broken glass. It affects the other family-owned businesses in our neighborhood who now wonder if they'll be next.

To those businesses: don't worry. This was not part of some larger movement against local stores. This was an isolated act of vandalism directed at our Corporate leadership, and it has nothing to do with our team or the values we stand for. We know this wasn't some random act.

The LEGO community is built around a shared love of creativity, connection, and bringing people together. Whatever frustrations people may have with corporate decisions, taking them out on a local family-owned store and the people who work here crosses a line.

I understand why people are upset, and I share many of those frustrations. But I'm devastated that something that brings so much joy to so many people has led to this.

And to the person we caught on camera, the one who destroyed our property, I hope you step on a LEGO.

Feeling a little defeated today.

Sometime overnight, our store was broken into. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but it's still a tough thing to walk into when this little LEGO® shop is something we've poured so much of ourselves into.
We're planning to be open our normal hours today, though we may need to use the side door while we work through the aftermath.

If you're out and about, we could sure use some friendly faces, kind words, and a little community today. ❤️

Thank you for supporting our small family business through the good days and the challenging ones. We appreciate y'all more than you know.
