There are no words in my vocabulary or enough room on this post to express how much my GODMOTHER, Mrs. Shirley Louise McCray (Shirley L. McCray, Shirley Gillis McCray) has inspired and poured into the lives of others!
One day I might write a book on how she helped to jump start my FASHION Designing Career!
She has been a second Mother figure and a loyal confidant in my adolescence teen years!
She has been a Stage Mom to my models, a Back up Commentator, a Fashion Show Model, a Road Manager and a fierce Supporter of my Fashion Productions in the '80s!
She was one of my first Fashion Designing Muse!
She had a sharp tongue, a sassy wit and would fight you about her UCity Babies!
Her LOVE for us was immeasurable, empowering and life changing!
We called her "Mama Shirley"!
