Fall is made for slowing down, so in this hands-on session participants build a Cozy Season spread from a pile of paper, stickers, and embellishments using the L.A.Y.E.R. Method, Abby’s five-step framework for turning scraps into a story. It’s a page for the small comforts of the season, the warm drinks and soft sweaters worth holding onto as it gets cold. No experience needed and no rules to follow. Everyone leaves with a spread that looks like them and a method they can repeat on any page, any season.

The instructor will be working from the Dear Autumn Sticker Book and Journal Bundle. Each attendee will receive their own Dear Autumn Journal, Sticker Book, and PET + Washi Box from Shop Rongrong to work with and take home.

What better way to kick off a new year of reading than by creating a reading journal you’ll actually want to use?

In this workshop, participants will transform a beautiful, brand new RongRong notebook into their own personalized 2027 Reading Journal using Rongrong’s October monthly planning kit and some other stationery goodies. We’ll create a fun and functional system for tracking the books we want to read, the books we actually read, favorites, ratings, reading goals, TBRs, quotes, recommendations, audiobooks, and more.

Workshop: Make an LCF Memory Keeper by Rongrong x Lisa

You’re coming to Spooky Little Craft Fest — so why not make a place to remember it?

In this workshop, participants will create a Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeper specifically for their LCF experience. We’ll build a fun, flexible journal that they can begin at the festival and continue filling after they get home with photos, stories, and all of the little pieces of ephemera they collect throughout the weekend.

Rather than creating a traditional scrapbook page, we’ll focus on memory keeping and collecting the little details that make an event special.

Participants will learn how to incorporate things like vendor cards, receipts, packaging, stickers, tags, class information, notes, photographs, favorite purchases, and other festival ephemera into their journal.

I’ll also give everyone ideas for a “LCF Memory Hunting” list so they know what to look for throughout the festival. The goal is for attendees to leave class ready to document the weekend as it happens and then finish their Memory Keeper when they return home.

We are thrilled to welcome local artist Alma who will be hosting 2 inspiring calligraphy workshops:

1. Beginner Modern Calligraphy + Brush Lettering
A beginner-friendly introduction to modern calligraphy where students will learn foundational lettering techniques and explore brush lettering through a fun fall-themed activity. Attendees will practice their lettering skills and then apply their new techniques onto a seasonal keepsake: a pumpkin they can personalize and take home.

2. Modern Calligraphy + Custom Calligraphy Ink
A calligraphy experience where students will create their own custom gouache calligraphy ink and explore seasonal lettering inspired by Halloween and Día de los Mu***os colors and creative elements. Attendees will receive a calligraphy kit (distinct from the first workshop), specialty papers, and themed templates to continue creating after the workshop.
