Pro tip of the day - run your hot water at your sink until the water gets really hot and then start your dishwasher. This will help shorten up the dishwashing time a little bit and energy used by the dishwasher.

Most modern dishwashers run a lot longer. That’s because they have less powerful heating elements and motors, saving on energy.

Some dishwashers will heat their own water. However, if you have a dishwasher that does not heat its own water your dishes may not be getting as clean and the cycle may be taking a lot longer.

Some dishwashers will fill up with water and because it’s too cold will drain it out in an attempt to heat up the water to what it needs to be to start washing your dishes. This is a waste of time and water.

You just have to call the right one. ME.

I’m going to be straightforward and honest with you even if it means I don’t get to do the job. I’ll even tell you if it can be fixed for free like one of my many customers below. My customer had a very new washer that she described an issue to me about. Once I heard the issue, I already knew that it would likely be covered for free by the manufacturer since it was a known issue that they were fixing at no charge.

Happy Friday!

Just a quick lesson for the day. If you’re going to clean out your front load pump filter you need to make sure 100% that it’s completely tightened. Once you tighten it, make sure you run your washing machine immediately after and monitor it as it’s filling up with water to make sure no water is leaking out of that filter housing. Unfortunately, for this 3 story home a lot of Sheetrock and floors will have to be redone.

Honestly unless your washing machine is having a problem draining water don’t clean out the pump filter. It’s just too risky in my opinion. Plus every time you open and close the filter you put more wear on the seal.

Just my opinion that you didn’t ask for.

Just a warning to all you folks that like your clothes to smell good. If you’re using scented beads like this, you really need to make sure you’re only using the recommended amount and not too much and you’re also running a clean cycle on your washer more frequently maybe like once a week. Using these beads too much will cause a lot of buildup in your machine and if neglected will result in you needing a new washer like this one. The tub support completely disintegrated of which this tub cost more than a new washer itself.

The less chemicals you need to add to your washer the better.
