It has been a long time since I posted on this page. We have just been so busy with Larry's health issues, and running Larry's nonprofit to help families at Mott Hospital.

We are going to have a garage sale. It's going to be Thursday, Friday, and possibly Saturday.

That would be August 13, 14 & maybe 15.

My two daughter-in-laws are also contributing items.

This is not a fundraiser. This is not a community sale like we have done in the past. This is raising funds for our own family. We've been wanting to make the back room into Larry's new bedroom because of issues he's having with going up and down the stairs. It's been a goal for a while. We also need to redo our back deck.

My daughter-in-law's are having weddings and home projects in a new baby Elise, different things like that so we all have goals in mind for how we are doing our sale.

I don't have pictures yet. But there will be a lot of vintage and antiques. Glassware and furniture, brass and oak.

More info coming this week.

Today, my daughter-in-law Stephanie and I spent a lot of time getting ready for The Speckled Hen Market that takes place this Saturday, September 30th on Cedar Lake road, here in Howell. This is just a very small portion of the vintage and antique items that we will have there. Stephanie will also have a great many items and beautiful vintage rugs from her shop, Ember Home Collection. Please join us! We'd love to see you there!

Firemen in Williamston are stating confirmed tornado on the scanner. Power lines are down causing gas lines to vibrate. Roll over accidents in the freeway. Sixteen people trapped in a nursing home with a collapsed roof. Firemen are on foot because trees are blocking roads. 111 MPH winds were reported. We hit the basement on a run. Our trees here were swirling. Powers been out since 9:40. 😔
This has been a very, very strange summer.
It's weird cuz it just got hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter and then the storm hit. Now it feels 25° cooler.
