It’s a long weekend, which means it’s the perfect time to load up on some new reads! 📚

I had to sneak in a little nod to football season, of course. 🏈 And I’m especially grateful to the person who sent us Nine, Ten: A September 11 Story — such an important read to have on the shelf ❤️

Truly, there’s something for everyone in the Little Free Library today so stop by! 🥰

Love this! One of my favorite things about getting used books are the notes, bookmarks and objects used as bookmarks inside. We’ve found old plane tickets, coupons from the 1980’s and soooo many random receipts.

Maybe one day we will find money 🤣

While many know her for music, those of us in literacy land, know her for her huge heart and love of getting books in the hands of children. The world lost an icon today 💔 RIP Dolly!

Her Imagination Library gifted over 300 million books to children around the world, spreading her love for reading far and wide.

From one literary icon to another, we will always love you Dolly. ❤️📚
