First day in Scotland. Our group were off and running doing their own things with their free time. We had a few pics to share.

We're going on tour! We'll be in Scotland beginning August 4th and returning to the store on August 18th.

We'll have limited store hours while we're gone:

Hard to believe we have come to the end of another fantastic tour. We were joined by some amazing people who bonded so well that there are already plans in the works to get together back in the U.S.

Monday is a free day for our guests, so no group photos. Michelle and I always try to find one new thing to do, and this tour we found two. The Little Dublin Museum, across from St. Stephen’s Green, was a lovely and entertaining museum that you can do in an hour. Our second adventure was to go on the Vintage Tea Tour. It’s a vintage bus where you are served a high tea (tea, finger sandwiches, dessert) while touring various points of interest around Dublin. It was great fun. Later that evening we checked out the iconic Cobblestone Pub, which strives to maintain the true music session atmosphere. They certainly succeeded.

Two days into the tour, and folks are already in love with Ireland. What a great group…even a little rain (to be expected) and some midges didn’t deter them from exploring. St. Brigid’s Well is always a beautiful stop no matter what the weather is like, and The Cliffs of Moher were shrouded in mist, but we made the best of it. Capt. Patrick Luskin of Corrib Cruises did his usual stellar job at detailing the history of Inchagoill Island, the holy Island to where legend says St. Patrick was banished.

Our last few days in Wales were fantastic. What an adventure I’ve the last 11 days. And what a great group of travelers…they’re the best.
