Two days into the tour, and folks are already in love with Ireland. What a great group…even a little rain (to be expected) and some midges didn’t deter them from exploring. St. Brigid’s Well is always a beautiful stop no matter what the weather is like, and The Cliffs of Moher were shrouded in mist, but we made the best of it. Capt. Patrick Luskin of Corrib Cruises did his usual stellar job at detailing the history of Inchagoill Island, the holy Island to where legend says St. Patrick was banished.

The adventure continues. After departing Dublin and a ferry trip across the Irish Sea, we landed at Holyhead. On our way to our evening’s accommodations we stopped at Caernarfon Castle, built by Edward I, and still used today as the place where the investiture of Prince of Wales takes place. Then on to Llandudno, a beautiful seaside resort town. While in Llandudno, we explored a Bronze Age copper mine, and the went to Conwy to see another castle and to explore the town.

Day one of the Wales tour, which started in Dublin. While waiting for our rooms, we drove to Malahide Castle and then to Howth. A beautiful day to start our journey.

We will be on tour in Wales beginning Monday, May 11, returning on May 23. We will have limited hours as follows:

Friday and Saturday, May 15 & 16 - 10 - 4.
Wednesday and Thursday, May 20 & 21, 10 - 6

We will also be closed for the Memorial Day Weekend, returning to the office on Wednesday, May 27th.
