Literally the worst quality control I’ve seen from Briggs and Stratton in all the years I’ve been doing this. But we fixed it. This engine has very little hours on it and was a huge oil burner. On top of needing the crankshaft placed as a result of the customer hitting something we discovered and uncovered the crap Quality control behind the manufacturing of our lawn and garden equipment. Shame on the manufacturers for allowing this type of quality out the door.. our repair shop is set up properly to repair these types of issues properly though it’s nothing the customer should ever experience unfortunately it’s what our world has come to.

If your mower is burning oil and it has very little time, and it is a Briggs and Stratton engine this may be your problem.

Removing a crank and installing a new one. Vibrations caused by a bent crank can disrupt the operation of your equipment. We will extend the life of this one for years to come by repairing NOT replacing. In this case it is VERY cost effective to perform this job.

We are changing our hours of operation as follows. Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM Sat-by appointment only. (Effective immediately)

As we are a small business, this is to reflect a better quality of life for our family throughout the summer.

Going on our fourth year of business operations, we are finding that being open on Saturdays is not allowing for the weekend getaway. The only real convenience of it is to offer a day for customers who can’t make it to our shop throughout the week. therefore, we will still be open some Saturdays by appointment only.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we transition to the new hours
