Customer brought in this gem.
Car wouldn’t rev and shook really bad. He took it to a restoration shop and had the motor rebuilt, still the same issue, had that same shop pull motor again and they claimed they needed to put a new crank in it and balance the internals.....

Same issues.

Turns out, the valves were stuck open from the valve adjustment being tightened all the way down, the car had a lot of issues that stemmed from this simple mistake. Ended up having collapsed valve springs, mushroomed valve stems, valve guides were seized, wrong spark plugs that were over gapped to begin with.

Point to be made, take your cars to a reputable shop that will talk you through the process of what they are going to do to diagnose and fix the issues at hand. We got her back on the road.
