One last look back before we officially close the book on our Harvest & Holiday Market.

Over the past week we've thanked our vendors, our crew, the businesses and individuals who contributed, Officer Hoag and K9 Lex, and celebrated the money we were able to raise for Alvirne's Veterinary Science program.

But there's one group we haven't properly thanked yet.

YOU.

To everyone who came through the doors on September 20, thank you.
Thank you for shopping with our vendors, buying raffle tickets, supporting Alvirne's students, stopping to watch the K9 demonstration, grabbing something to eat, bringing your families and simply spending part of your Sunday with us.

The weather forecast wasn't exactly our friend leading up to the event, but you came anyway. At times the parking lot was full, cars were spilling onto the grass, and inside and outside were filled with people exploring what our vendors had brought.

These events take months of planning and a whole lot of work, but seeing our community come together is what makes us keep doing them.

We've learned something from every event we've held, and this one was no different. We're already taking everything we've learned and putting it toward the future.

So with that, we're officially closing the chapter on our September 2026 Harvest & Holiday Market.

Thank you, Hudson. Thank you to everyone who came from surrounding communities. And thank you to every single person who helped make the day possible.

Now, about the question we've heard over and over again...

"When's the next one?"
We might just have a few ideas.
Stay tuned.

Okay, enough event talk for a minute. Let's go thrift shopping!

We've been sharing so much from our Harvest & Holiday Market that it's time to bring things back home to Purrfect Thrift.

The store has been changing, donations have been coming in, and there are plenty of treasures waiting for new homes.

Here's just a little peek at what's around the store right now. And as always, if you see something you love, don't wait too long. Once it's gone, it's gone!

We're open today 11 AM–5 PM at:

30 Lowell Road, Suite 22
Hudson, NH

Come wander around and see what you find!

One of the highlights of our Harvest & Holiday Market had four paws!

We were so happy to welcome Hudson Police Officer Hoag and K9 Lex to spend part of the afternoon with us and give everyone a look at what this incredible team does together.

Around 1:30, shoppers, vendors and families gathered to watch their demonstration, learn a little more about K9 work and, of course, meet Lex!

Having them there added something really special to the day. Our events have always been about more than shopping. We want them to bring our community together, introduce people to some of the amazing people and organizations around us, support local causes and give families something fun to experience together.

A huge thank-you to Officer Hoag and K9 Lex for taking time out of their Sunday to join us. We know how busy you are, and we truly appreciated having you there.
And thank you to the Hudson Police Department for continuing to be such an important part of our community.

Judging by the crowd that gathered for the demonstration, we definitely weren't the only ones excited to have Lex there!

We hope you enjoy a few of our favorite photos from their visit.

This is the part that makes all the work worth it.

Our Harvest & Holiday Market wasn't just about shopping, vendors and having a fun afternoon together. It was also another opportunity to support the students of Alvirne High School's Veterinary Science program.

Through the raffle at our September event, together we raised $210 for the program.

That comes after another $271 raised at our Christmas in July event, bringing our support through these two events to $481 for Alvirne Veterinary Science!
And when we say "we," we really mean WE.

It was Purrfect Thrift organizing the event. It was our vendors and local businesses donating prizes. It was our community buying raffle tickets. It was our volunteers and crew helping run everything. And it was all of you who showed up and supported it.

Every raffle ticket mattered.
We received a message afterward from Janine Graham at Alvirne that really meant a lot to us. She thanked us for our continued support in helping shape the future of animal ownership and veterinary care and reminded us that what we're doing really does make a difference.

$481 may not change the world, but it's $481 this program didn't have before. And we're not finished.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make it happen. Supporting animals has always been at the heart of Purrfect Thrift, and being able to extend that support to students who may someday dedicate their careers to caring for them makes this one especially meaningful.

Thank you, Alvirne Veterinary Science, for letting us be a small part of what you're building.

Tonight, this post is for the people behind the scenes.

When you come to one of our events, you see the vendors, the raffles, the food, the music, and hopefully a whole lot of people having a good time.

What you don't always see is the crew behind it all.

Purrfect Thrift is truly a family-run business, and our events are no different. Our family, our everyday store staff, some wonderful new additions, and the people who have simply become part of our extended Purrfect Thrift family all come together to make these days happen.

From setting up and breaking down, checking in vendors, directing parking, running the kitchen and raffle tables, helping customers, making announcements, solving problems, answering questions, and jumping in wherever needed, there are a LOT of moving pieces.

A huge thank-you to Joe, Matt, Steven, Daisy, Kassie, Nicole, and Jade for once again being part of the craziness and helping us make it happen.

This event also brought us some new faces. Stefanie, Mandy and Pam joined our event crew for the first time, and they jumped right in wherever they were needed. We couldn't have asked for a better group to join us.

And then there are Kim and Gio. They're our neighbors; they're not employees, and yet somehow when we need an extra set of hands, they're there. They've helped us more times than we can count, and this event was no exception. We're very lucky to have neighbors who have become part of the Purrfect Thrift family.

And although Alexandria couldn't be with us this time, she was absolutely there in spirit.

Some people worked very long days. Some were given one job and ended up doing three others before the day was over. When plans changed, people adjusted. When something needed to be done, someone stepped in.

Events like this don't happen because of one person. They happen because a group of people shows up, works together, and figures things out along the way.

I may be the one with the crazy ideas, but I'm very lucky to have people willing to help me turn them into reality.

Thank you to our entire crew. We couldn't do these events without you.
And thank you to everyone who came out and supported us.

We still have more from our Harvest & Holiday Market to share!

We say it often because we mean it: without our vendors, there is no event.
More than 40 vendors signed up to be part of our Harvest & Holiday Market, bringing everything from handmade creations and specialty items to vintage finds, collectibles, resale treasures and so much more.

We know what goes into being a vendor. The planning, packing, loading, unloading, setting up, spending hours on your feet, packing it all back up again, and sometimes doing all of it while watching the weather and wondering what the day will bring.

So to every vendor who joined us on September 20, thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your Sunday. Thank you for bringing your businesses, your merchandise and your personalities to our event. Thank you for talking with your neighboring vendors, supporting one another and helping create the friendly atmosphere we want at every Purrfect Thrift event.

We also had an incredible group of vendors and local businesses contribute to our raffles and goodie bags, including several who jumped in at the very last minute.

A special thank-you to The Pop Shop, Woodland Cottage Craft & Snack Shack, Ñawi Sweets, Mama Bear Baking Co., Made In The Air / Party In The Air, Driftwell Travel Co., Emily Sampson, Simply Motherhood (Gabriele B.), Lushes Leaves by Lulu, Audrey G., Lorraine B., and everyone else who contributed goodies, treats, promotional items, raffle prizes and more.

And those contributions were about more than filling goodie bags or creating some great prizes. Your support helped us raise money for the kids at Alvirne's Veterinary Science program. That accomplishment belongs to all of us. Purrfect Thrift may organize the event, but we certainly don't do it alone. Every donated item, every raffle ticket purchased, every vendor who participated and every person who came through the doors helped make that possible.

We had so many last-minute contributions coming in that we may have missed getting the name of every contributor. If you donated something and we missed your name, please let us know! We want to make sure you get the recognition you deserve.

We also want to thank those of you who took the time afterward to share your feedback with us. We do read it. We listen to what worked, what didn't, and what you'd like to see in the future. Every event teaches us something, and your input is an important part of that.

One of our favorite things from the day was getting to see all of your setups, so tonight we're sharing some of the faces, booths and businesses that helped make the day happen.
Thank you for being part of the Purrfect Thrift family and for helping us bring another community event to Hudson.

And a special thank-you to Allegra Boverman for capturing so many of these photos throughout the day and giving us the opportunity to look back at it all.

We hope you enjoy the photos!

We know our event follow-up has been a little quiet!

This event took a little more out of me than our others, and I needed some time to recover, get caught back up at the store, and start working through everything from the day.

But we have plenty to share!

First, all of our raffle and door prizes have officially been claimed! Because every ticket included a name and phone number, we were able to contact each winner directly, so there was no need to post winning ticket numbers.

We even managed to get photos of almost all of our winners with their prizes! The only one who escaped the camera was Susan C., winner of the plant, but we haven't forgotten you, Susan!

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who participated, shopped with our vendors, supported the raffles, and came out to spend part of your Sunday with us.

And thank you for being patient while we've been a little quiet. We haven't forgotten about our Harvest & Holiday Market. I just needed a little recovery time after this one!

Over the next several days, we'll be sharing more from the event, including vendor highlights, more photos, some very special thank-yous, what your support helped accomplish, and a look behind the scenes at the people who make these events happen.

Stay tuned. We have a lot to share!
