Today is a little bittersweet, it’s my last official Sunday in the Nursery, I only work in the Nursery on Sundays and my Daughter e m m a runs the show the rest of the week. And I’m grateful for all her help and dedication. Tomorrow will be the last day open for the season, so please stop in and say hi to Emma, all plants are discounted.
I’ll miss all the familiar faces and the people that make part of their Sundays a routine to stop in and say hello.
I’m also grateful to everyone who walked through our gates to help make this season another successful year. As we wrap up our 37th year in business, we are already planning for next year’s Nursery season. We look forward to introducing new plant varieties and our old-fashioned favorites.
I’ll enjoy my Sundays off and look forward to seeing you next year

September! I’m going off point here.
This is my favorite month, not just because it’s my birth month. I was born on Labor Day, my Mom says it gave her a new meaning of Labor Day.
I love the changing seasons, I look forward to pulling out my favorite sweaters and seeing the trees show off their fabulous colors. Fall cleanup and I’ve already started dreaming of next year’s garden.
If a season was a color, it’d be Orange.
