If you know Barrence Whitfield only from the roof-raising, full-throttle days of The Savages, you’re only hearing part of the story. As one half of The Mercy Brothers, Whitfield reveals a deeper, more soulful side of his artistry alongside acclaimed guitarist, songwriter, and producer Michael Dinallo.

Together, Whitfield and Dinallo blend country blues, folk, gospel, and Americana into performances that are intimate, powerful, and deeply moving. Their acclaimed album Strange Adventure has become a cult favorite among roots music fans, showcasing a partnership built on emotion, authenticity, and musical chemistry.

Topical, emotional exploration and humor permeate lyrics bridging generations of musical style. Her debut album, Issues, is out now on SandyLand Records.

Sandy has performed at the NorthEast ComicCon numerous times, plus Clubs like The Burren, Festivals, Radio and TV appearances developing and has developed an audience of fans who appreciate her humor and musicianship.
