Fox 2.0's on 3/4 and 1-ton vehicles take some abuse for sure. The weight of those vehicles work the 2.0 shocks harder than most other vehicles and the wear on them can occur at a faster rate. This set ended up needing new shocks bodies, new shafts, and a few other items that if they had been brought in at the first signs of leakage, could have been avoided. Fox recommends rebuilds every 50,000 miles with 100% on road use. The more you use your vehicle on unmaintained roads and off road, the lower that rebuilt mileage threshold gets.

Inspect your shocks regularly when giving them a good cleaning and if you see signs of damage (pitted shafts, leakage damaged bushings), get them in as soon as possible to keep your rebuild cost to a minimum.

ATSS Rebuilt set of King shocks off off of a Toyota Tacoma for one of our customers out of Corpus Christi, TX. This set needed some tlc in a bad way. Leaking, very low on shock oil, pitted shock shafts, loose spherical bearings, broken coil spring...they came a long way in their rebuild/repair to bring them back to brand new performance levels.

This set of Fox Factory Race Series 2.5 Coilover's came in extremely ready for a rebuild and refresh. They've been through a rebuild or two previously and were ready for some replacement parts this go around. Set of Gen 2 Raptor Live Shocks with the Live Valve deleted for a customer out of Houston, TX. These came in as a basket case set with the spring perch stop rings missing on one coilover, and coils mounted improperly causing body damage. ATSS was able to get the shocks rebuilt with the live valve delete per customer request, replace the missing parts, set the coils on the front struts correctly, and get the set ready to party again!

Set of Gen 1 Ford Raptor King triple bypass shocks repaired/rebuilt for a customer out of Conroe, TX. We replaced the damaged shock shafts on both shocks, replaced upper and lower mount spherical bearings, added shaft boots to them for a little added protection, replaced bypass tube internal components and replaced all stickers on the outside of the shocks. Ready and willing to be beat on once again!
