Mazel had her first kids yesterday! Two nice looking bucklings. A first time mom(dam) is called a first freshener.
Bubbles and Mazel are sisters and were bred to two different bucks. Excited to see what we get for milk production this year!

Punch led us off for kidding on the mini Nubians. Of course she waited until I was in Okanagan before she had them. Then Bubbles surprised us with kids of her own that I found once I got home yesterday evening.

First batch of soap in the newly finished kitchen is done! Started with our Lavender with high quality buds from the local 7 Arrows Lavender Farm, they have many more amazing products check them out!
Then to follow and not be out done was a batch of our popular lemongrass soap. Making the whole room smell like a blast from the past of lemon head candies.
The process to get this kitchen completed took a lot of hard work and trials, but it was so worth it!

First kids of the season! Out of my sons Boer doe he bought with his own money so he wouldn’t have to buy his fair goats from anyone else. Momma was a first timer but did great. Unfortunately they got too cold and couldn’t nurses, momma wasn’t letting much colostrum out. So they spent the night in the house.

More kids are coming! This is the first time I’ve ever been able to get this doe into a stall for laboring. Usually she just drops them in the yucky hay behind the barn.

Mr. Valentine sure is a friendly guy. Loving how he’s developing so far and he will likely be a good herd sire prospect when it comes to marketing.
