CREATE YOUR OWN GAMEBOY GAME WORKSHOP

WHERE IS IT? Retro Games Plus, 4429 Redondo Beach Blvd, Lawndale CA 90260

WHAT IS IT?
Build your own Gameboy Game level, and upload it to a real, physical cartridge!

WHO’S IT FOR?
Kids aged 7+

WHEN IS IT?
Five Sundays in a row, from 2pm-4pm. Oct 11th, Oct 18th, Oct 25th, Nov 1st, Nov 8th.

Each class builds upon lessons learned the week prior, so students are encouraged to attend each week.

WHO’S TEACHING IT?
Austin Kraus, a real game developer who has worked on games like SPIDER-MAN 3 and CALL OF DUTY!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Show up in-store at 1:45pm, ready to learn!

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
PC laptop computers are required. You are heavily encouraged to bring your own.

We have a very small inventory of donated laptops that can be used in-store. These will be available on a “first come, first served” basis.

HOW MUCH IS IT?
Classes are free!

On Nov 8th, after everyone has completed their work, students may pay $25 to transfer their work to a Gameboy cartridge that will play in real Gameboy systems!
