D&D Volunteers Needed - Fan Expo 2026 - June 26 through 28

Hi, it’s Dan from Socal D&D.

Good news, Socal D&D is going to be the Dungeons & Dragons provider of record for the upcoming Fax Expo convention June 26 through 28 at the Anaheim convention.

Fan Expo is kind of like Wondercon but with more famous people on their panels. This year they’ll have guests like Mark Hamill from Star Wars and the cast from Lord Of The Rings.

We need volunteers for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the event who can do one or more of the following:

- Run short D&D skirmish games (like the ones we run at our tavern events, but you won’t be running games the entire shift, so don’t freak out)

- Help run and oversee our Paint ‘n’ Take miniature painting tables (you don’t need to be an expert painter to do this)

- Help out our general info D&D both (basically helping signup and check-in for our games and activities).

These positions are unpaid and volunteer-based., We’re not getting paid to do any of this, we just think it’s a fun and cool opportunity.

However, people who volunteer for at least one 3-hour shift at the event will receive one free pass to the 3-day event. These passes cost about $100.
