Beatutiful day for some fishing! 🎣
Saw a few boats headed out early this morning!

Cup o jo is heating up and will be open for a few hours, before headed back to boise!

I met alot of towns people this weekend and i know there is alot of LOVE for HUNTINGTON! ❤️
I hope everyone enjoyed their drinks and please let me know if it wasnt what you were after , we can modify just about anything!

So here’s some “GOOD NEWS “ for all that use
Spring Recreation area, they will try and have it available for Labor Day Weekend!!! The weather is looking great for that weekend with much cooler temperatures, so if you got nothing going on and wanna give her another shot, good time to come on down. As always thank you all for your support of the store!!

So here is Spring Recreation camp site/ boat launch. Took a trip down there today (8-17-26)to confirm it was still closed for usage and IT IS!!! No word on when it will possibly reopen, but you can still access Farewell Bend State Park though launching will be getting tricky there with the low reservoir levels. And you can also still launch at Morgan Creek, and again this is not an actual boat launch but Mother Nature made it so you can use it as one, so you still have that option and it’s about 15 miles down river. It’s truly not a pretty site on both the Oregon and Idaho side as it’s truly scorched earth, very sad. 😔 So with that all being said those coming down for as I call the
“Last Hurrah” on the fishing season for Labor Day weekend coming up in September, please be safe. Thank you all for your continued support of what use to be our store, lol 😂, and yes we gotta get this page over to Jaylon and Johanna the new owners so they can take over from me and my stupid posts . But truly missing it already but in another breath enjoying not being there if that makes any sense. Tight lines all and again from us (Robert & Marie) THANK YOU all for the amazing memories!!

A friend here in town just posted this and it needs to be addressed by the contractor hired by the Harper school district. Travis has worked hard for his business and as the mayor of Huntington several years ago. He is a volunteer on our fire department and EMS service, he was here when Marie took her spill August 1st. Let’s hope that something can be done to make this right and to make him whole. Let’s hope that this contractor will do the right thing, prayers that it will work out!!

Our friends down the river just posted this, but wanna get it out to anybody that was planning on coming down and thinking you were gonna launch your boat or use the facilities at Spring Recreation, it ain’t happening!! Again the smoke and fires are really impacting this whole area still. But there are no actual fires around us any longer but several still in the general area which is where all the smoke is from. In fact it’s so thick today you can’t even see the windmills sitting on the hills above town. So with that being said prayers to all the people on the lines fighting these fires 🔥 here and throughout Oregon & Idaho. Stay safe out there everyone!!
