To my wonderful community of Huntington,
With all the love in my heart, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the past 43 years of serving you. It has been an absolute joy to be a part of your lives and witness the smiles on the faces of generations of children as they entered our store. From the early days when the store was filled with dolls, to the evolution into a doll and toy store, it has been an exciting journey.
I will forever cherish the memories of seeing the little kids come in and choose their first doll. And to see those same children return years later with their own little ones, creating a new generation of toy lovers, brought an even bigger smile to my face. The support and love from this community have been the driving force behind our success.
When the pandemic hit, I was unsure of what the future held for our store. But in true Huntington fashion, you rallied behind us. We adapted by offering virtual shopping experiences and making countless deliveries to ensure that the children in our community had access to educational books and toys. Your support during those challenging times meant the world to me.
As I prepare to embark on a new chapter in my life, I want to assure you that the legacy of our store will continue. On January 29th, I will be passing the torch to Lori Badanes from Einsteins Attic in Northport. She is a wonderful person who shares the same passion for toys and education. I am overjoyed to know that this space will continue to bring smiles to future generations of children.
A piece of my heart will always be at 267 Main Street. I am eternally grateful for the love and support you have shown me throughout the years.
With all my love and appreciation,
Lily Bergh
