A little shop update
I figured I’d share a bit of the process behind some of the work on the JK’s I did. Every cut, every setup, and every detail you see here was done right here in my shop on manual machines.
I completely understand why some people might assume parts like these are CNC machined or outsourced. Modern machining has come a long way, and I honestly take it as a compliment that the finished parts look that clean.
The truth is, though, I genuinely enjoy doing things my manual machines. It takes more time, more setups, and a lot of patience, but there’s something incredibly rewarding about creating complex parts in my shop. It gives me creative freedom and able to change things on the fly as well. Every finished piece represents hours of measuring, dialing in, machining, checking, and refining.
I’m always learning, always trying to improve, and I’m grateful to everyone who supports what I do. Thank you for believing in my work and following along on this journey.
Back to making chips!!!
