Today I've been thinking a lot about why I chose the name Ever Ours.

Years ago, I came across the words, "Ever thine, Ever mine, Ever ours." I had never heard them before, but something about them stayed with me. They were so beautiful that years later, when it came time to name this place, I couldn't let them go.

Lately, as we've worked on renovating this building, I've realized Ever Ours was never really about a building. It's about the moments that become part of our story. The conversations around a table. The laughter shared with friends. The celebrations. The traditions. The memories we carry with us long after the day is over. No matter what life brings, those moments remain ever ours.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I want Ever Ours to be. It's not just a space. It's not just events. My hope is to create experiences that make people slow down, connect, celebrate, and feel something meaningful.

A place where memories are made. A place where ordinary moments become special. A place where people leave carrying a feeling that's hard to put into words.

I heard a quote today that spoke straight to my heart:
"Your talents are God's gift to you. What you do with them is your gift to God."

I don't have everything figured out yet, but I do know this: God has placed a creative spirit inside of me, and I'm learning to trust it.

Sometimes you can see something so clearly in your mind long before it exists. You carry the vision around for months, imagining not just how it will look, but how it will feel.
For me, this space was never just about walls, trim, or décor. I wanted it to feel warm, timeless, and welcoming. A place where people could gather and make memories.
Today was one of those moments when I found myself standing in the middle of the room, just taking it all in. The beadboard is up, the trim is coming together, and the pillars are finally starting to look the way I envisioned them. For the first time, I can really see it.
Is there still a lot to do? Absolutely. I'll be caulking for days, and paint is still ahead of us. But sometimes it's important to stop and appreciate the progress, even when the work isn't finished.
Every board, every detail, and every long day is slowly transforming this old building into something beautiful.
It may not be finished yet, but I'm loving what it's becoming.

Two months. Countless hours. A whole lot of determination.
And now… the floor is finally level!
This part of the process tested us in every way, but seeing it come together makes it all worth it. Every inch of this space is being built with intention, hard work, and a vision we can’t wait to share.
Next up: finishing the pillars, paint, trim, and bottom wainscoting.
We’re getting closer every day to bringing Ever Ours to life.

Some updates aren’t pretty… but they mean the most.

There have been parts of this renovation that felt bigger than we knew how to handle. Moments where we stood in the space wondering how are we going to figure this out?

Then one day, while we were talking through it all, something shifted. It felt like we were given just enough clarity and courage to move forward.

So here we are.

In the middle of long days, problem solving, and a whole lot of hard work. The kind of work that no one will ever see once everything is finished.

But this part matters.

Because it’s here behind the scenes where a strong foundation is being created for everything to come.

It’s my little family.... figuring it out together. Pouring so much love into this building. And I truly feel like God has His hand in this, guiding us when we don’t quite know the way.

This isn’t the pretty part. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s emotional in a way I didn’t expect.

Maybe no one will ever fully know what it took to get here… and that’s okay.

But I do.

And I wanted to share this piece of the journey.

A little piece of our story...
If you’ve driven down Main Street lately, you may have noticed this sweet building. What many don’t know is… it’s ours.
Last year we gave the outside a whole new life, and what a difference it has made. Being right here on Main Street feels so special — like we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.
This is where Ever Ours will live. A space created with intention, beauty, and meaning.
We’ve already begun working on the inside, and while there’s still plenty to do, seeing it come to life has been so exciting. I’ll be sharing more of our renovation journey as we continue.
During this season of remodeling, creating just looks a little different. Since we’re not open daily and don’t have the setup for fresh flowers every day, I’ve been leaning into silk florals and intentional design work. It allows me to create beautifully without needing the structure of a traditional flower shop.
And honestly… I’m so excited about what this space will allow me to do creatively and what we’ll be able to offer our community. More on that soon.

I’m loving these soft blush, creamy whites, fresh greens, and pops of yellow — they just feel happy.
I tucked an antler into this wreath and had our last name engraved on it. A sweet friend of mine can laser engrave almost anything — names, dates, special words — whatever you’d like personalized.
