What is the difference between a fragrance oil and a perfume? Both deliver a beautiful scent, however the bases are different, creating a different experience for each wearer.

A fragrance oil will have an oil base. This allows the scent to last a bit longer. As your body heats up, it will project the scent of the oil. It is a more personal and intimate experience.

The base of perfume is alcohol. While it still projects a scent, it won’t last as long and won’t sit close to you like an oil.

Both are distinctly personal ways to wear your scent. However, here at Ferren we prefer an oil. It is a scent that wears into the skin, lasts throughout the day, and leaves behind a trace. It is a personal luxury 🤍
