This was my May challenge book. When You Trap a Tiger was such a wonderful read- so heartfelt. Not gonna lie, it made me cry. More than once. It’s a story that lives in your heart.

For the April theme I read The Greek Coffin Mystery by Ellery Queen. I had never read an Ellery Queen mystery before…it was not even on the radar, so I am glad I got to discover this.

Ooooh, I’m loving this warp. I’m currently working on the Ms and Os towels by Christine Tsai for . I decided to try the towels in this lovely muted citrus combo in Duet… just a little off script, but that’s to be expected. More to come soon. :-)

My March pick was In the Time of Five Pumpkins. I figured there was enough green on the cover for it to count and I really wanted to spend some time with Mma Ramotswe. She is good for the soul.

Pax, by Sara Pennypacker, illustrated by Jon Klassen was my February book pick for the challenge. The theme was friendship, and this book was all about the beautiful relationship between a boy and a fox. It is beautifully written, but definitely made me cry cover to cover.

My classic book choice for January is Jane Austen’s Persuasion. I always enjoy reading Austen’s books in different seasons of my life, and this one is still holding as my favorite. Bonus is that it’s such a pretty edition from Chiltern Publishing.

Another double width off the rigid heddle loom. I played with asymmetry on this one using ‘s ever lovely Beam. It is so very touchable and washes well. I think maybe I should have picked a slightly darker accent warp color, it might be a pinch instead of a pop.

I love two scarves that come off the same warp that have such distinct personalities. These were some overshot scarves inspired by - the first followed the pattern, the second did its own thing. :-)
