Today, we stood at a place right here in Viera that carries a piece of American history.

At The Avenue Viera is a permanent 9/11 memorial, with a 7-foot, one-ton steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center serving as its centerpiece.

Today, 25 years after September 11, 2001, our community gathered to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders and heroes who ran toward danger, and the families whose lives were changed forever.

It’s easy to walk past a memorial like this without realizing what it represents.

Today, we stopped.
We remembered.
And we will never forget. 🇺🇸

25 years later, we remember not only the tragedy, but the courage, compassion, and unity that followed.

Brevard Zoo… AFTER DARK?! 👀🎃

We got a first look at Beware the Night, and it’s such a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit! The zoo gets a festive nighttime makeover with glowing pumpkins, lights, decorations, and fun surprises along the way.

It’s family-friendly and perfect for all ages, so grab the kids, bring the family, and experience the zoo after dark!

Fall is coming to Brevard! 🎃

Harris Establishment Farms in Palm Bay is bringing back its Fall Festival September 10 through November 1!
There’s plenty to do around the farm, including the pumpkin patch, wagon rides, farm animals, crop and ribbon mazes, playground, gem mining, sunflower picking when available, concessions and more.

Hours:
September: Thursday–Sunday
October: Wednesday–Sunday
Weekdays: 2:30–6:30 PM
Weekends: 9:30 AM–5:30 PM

Admission is $15 per person, with reduced admission of $12 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Kids 2 and under are free.
