Tonight The Residences at Front Row hosted their very first creative workshop, and Kyle Smith of Studio 2035 was the featured working artist! Kyle joined residents in Front Row's brand new makerspace for a graphite workshop as he walked us through drawing our own pair of realistic lips.

Check out Kyle Smith's new studio! Kyle has moved upstairs to Studio 2035 as his business expands and his drawings get bigger and bigger! He's a retired veteran and self-taught graphite artist who began drawing as a therapeutic practice. Now he's exploring what a career in the arts means for him by creating these gorgeous drawings! Kyle does it all: portraits, pop-culture icons, still-lifes, and even this most recent octopus piece!

You can come see his drawings up close and personal in Studio 2035. Who knows? You might even find one you just have to take home!
