Man!!! Let me tell you about the journey of the last couple months of the DEVILS attacks and GODS test of trust and faith!
So we own two company trucks for our two businesses Jump Around Moonwalks - Huntsville and Happy Farm Mobile Petting Zoo!! We own a 2022 Chevy 1500 and a 2021 Chevy 2500. In April of this year.. the 1500 started acting up and after mechanical diagnosis.. the motor went bad. I get a quote for parts and labor for $6000… ok, so I decide to park it and just run our 2500 as primary and an employee would run his truck as secondary. I just had to much going on right at that moment to drop that money.
Then BOOM.. the ultimate attack happens! A month later.. the motor in our 2500 goes out also! This would cost around $7,000 to fix 😫😵💫 and for the first time in our time of business I felt almost absolutely tanked! But.. graciously.. a team member of ours let us use his truck for a few weeks until he needed it back. I still appreciate that more than you know Charles Payne!
Since I still hadn’t completed the process of repair or replacement of those trucks.. I was forced to go rent a pickup truck from Home Depot averaging about $250 a day between the truck and mandatory trailer rental in order to use the hitch!
That Monday after using the rental truck, I’m taking my grandfather to a Dr appointment and he over hears what I was dealing with and offered to let me use his truck so I could save the expense of the rental!! WHAT A SAVE PAW! Thank you so much Jerry Giddens!! AND THEN… on the second day of using it.. something happened with the starter and it broke down… the amount of stress I was going through in that moment 😮💨 but we got it back up and running.
Then… our best friends Cosby and Jewlia told us they had a truck for sale.. what’s crazy is that I didn’t even have the money for it at that moment but I really needed the truck.. but when I tell you GOD provides.. in a little over 24hrs I had the money in hand, cash.. and it’s funny to me how all that worked out like that!
There were a few other things that just kept putting stress and obstacles in my life but fast forward a bit.. it all worked out… it always does WHEN you trust in GOD! I still may have two trucks with blown motors sitting but this third company truck will do us just fine for now! And boy once we get those other two trucks back up and running.. we will be running and gunning! Also huge thanks to Levi with Huntsville DiscountTires for taking care of me like you did! The man has a heart of Gold!
