👔FATHER’S DAY BOOK SIGNING next Saturday, June 20, 10 am – noon 👔 It’s almost Dad’s Day, and we’re bringing you two authors whose books would make great gifts! Join us next Saturday for a book signing with authors Robert Bailey and Mark A. Johnson. Come by, meet the writers, and get signed copies of Robert Bailey’s legal thriller The Mediator ⚖️ and Mark Johnson’s food history American Bacon 🥓. (The Snail also has copies of Mark’s earlier book, Alabama Barbecue.) The special guys in your life will thank you!

ROBERT BAILEY, a retired attorney and registered mediator, is the bestselling author of The Boomerang and several series of legal thrillers set around the South. He also wrote the inspirational novel The Golfer’s Carol. The Mediator is his 12th novel.

MARK A. JOHNSON, from Milwaukee, earned a PhD in history from the University of Alabama. He currently teaches at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is also the author of An Irresistible History of Alabama Barbecue: From Wood Pit to White Sauce.
