If you’ve ever walked into Blushing Books and heard us talking about spice or seen chili peppers on a book review, this post is for you!

Here’s the breakdown:

🌶️ 1 PEPPER
Non-explicit + brief romantic descriptions. Think kisses, flirting, butterflies, and all the swoony feelings without on-page spice.

🌶️🌶️ 2 PEPPERS
Vague descriptions + one open-door scene. There’s some heat, but it’s not the main event.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ 3 PEPPERS
1–2 open-door scenes with increasing explicit content. Okayyy, things are heating up. 🔥

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4 PEPPERS
3+ explicit open-door scenes. The spice is definitely part of the story!

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 5 PEPPERS
ALL THE SCENES + THE SPICE IS THE PLOT. 🌶️🔥 If you’re looking for maximum heat, this is your vibe.

Audiobook walks are here to stay!!! 🎧

Join us on the 2nd Friday of every month for a relaxing evening walk through downtown Huntsville. We’ll meet in front of the store at 5:00 PM and head out promptly at 5:15 PM. Our route will take us around Big Spring Park and back to the store—about 1.4 miles. Feeling ambitious? You’re welcome to do a second lap with us!
