A HAPPENING. IN HURLEYVILLE! We’re excited to welcome you to the 7th historic marker dedication - A HAPPENING IN HURLEYVILLE! The “happening” kicks off July 21 at 1:00 pm with a historic marker dedication outside the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC). This historic marker pays tribute to Hurleyville, one of the earliest dating Borscht Belt hamlets that saw an influx of Jewish vacationers starting around 1910.

The historic marker also honors MEL BROOKS, who began his comedic career at age 14 at Hurleyville’s Butler Lodge! After the dedication will be hosting a CATSKILL LITERARY and ARTS EXPO!
