The Barber’s Wife is OPEN, and the shelves are stocked with plenty of homemade goodness to get your weekend started!

Whether you’re looking for something to enjoy with your morning coffee, a little something sweet for later, or fresh sourdough to go with dinner, there’s a good variety waiting for you today!

Chocolate for breakfast? I think I can make a pretty good argument for that! ♥

I’ve been experimenting with a new granola recipe, and I’m excited to finally add Chocolate Granola to the menu!

Like all my granolas, it’s made with sourdough discard and sweetened with local honey. This one has a rich chocolate flavor and plenty of delicious clusters!

That makes FOUR flavors to choose from:

♥ Chocolate Sourdough
♥ Maple Pecan
♥ Brown Sugar Walnut
♥ Honey Almond

And I’m just saying… a little Chocolate Granola over vanilla ice cream sounds like a pretty good idea. Not that I’m trying to give anybody ideas or anything! ♥

A little drizzle isn’t going to keep Thursday from being a good day! ♥

The Barber’s Wife is OPEN, and I’ve got the shelves filled and ready for you this morning!

There’s something especially cozy about a rainy day and homemade baked goods, don’t you think? Whether you’re picking up something for later or just looking for a little treat to brighten up this gray Thursday, there’s plenty to choose from. I’ll let the pictures and today’s menu give you a peek at what’s waiting!

And there’s something NEW at the stand today that isn’t coming out of my kitchen!

♥ We’re welcoming our first handmade item from Chicken Farm Charm! Jenny has brought us the cutest little scarecrow door hanger, and I think he’s found himself a pretty good spot on the porch! I’m excited to start sharing some of her creations with you!

What a beautiful reminder that the strength of our faith isn’t always found in the loudest voice or the biggest actions. Sometimes, it’s found in a gentle word, a patient response, or the way we choose to love someone when it isn’t easy. ♥

This morning, Pastor Jeff will be preaching on gentleness, and I can’t think of a better reminder of the kind of heart God calls us to have.

Jesus Himself showed us that gentleness isn’t weakness. It’s strength guided by love, humility, and grace. And in a world that can be so quick to anger and slow to listen, what a difference it makes when we allow God to shape the way we treat one another.

The Blend will be open this morning with coffee and plenty of homemade goodies to enjoy before worship. We’d love for you to spend a little time with us!

One last restock for Saturday! ♥

I’ve just put out the last of my sourdough loaves and a few other goodies for the day!

We’re getting pretty close to SOLD OUT, but there’s still some homemade goodness waiting on the shelves!

I’ll be open until 6 PM or until everything is gone, whichever comes first. So if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, now would be a good time!

Cloudy skies, cozy Saturday vibes, and shelves that are packed FULL! ♥

I may have gotten a little carried away with stocking the farmstand this morning… but I’m not sure that’s such a bad thing!

There’s something about a cool, cloudy Saturday that makes fresh-baked goodies sound even better, and I’ve made sure there’s plenty to choose from today!

We’ve got mini scone variety packs AND boxes of just Chocolate Chip Mini Scones for those who know exactly what they like. And that’s just a little taste of what’s waiting on the shelves!

Just a little Friday update! ♥

The construction crew is back doing a few finishing touches around the barbershop, so you may notice a truck and some equipment parked out front for a little while.

But don’t let that fool you — the farmstand is still OPEN, and I’ve just finished restocking the shelves!

You can still stop by and shop as usual. Just excuse the temporary company while we get these last few details wrapped up!

Happy Friday from The Barber’s Wife! ♥

The farmstand is OPEN, the shelves are full, and I think we’re settling into our beautiful new porch quite nicely!

I’ve got plenty of homemade goodness waiting for you today, including the return of the Mini Zucchini Breads! They’ve been missing from the shelves for a bit, so I’m happy to have them back. I’ll let today’s menu fill you in on everything else!

Well, would you LOOK at that porch!! ♥

The construction is FINISHED, the farmstand is back where it belongs, and I have to say… I am absolutely loving how it turned out! What a difference a little makeover makes!

And I figured a beautiful new porch deserved some pretty well-stocked shelves to go with it!

We’re OPEN this Thursday morning, and there is a LOT to choose from today!

Between the new porch and everything on those shelves, I think we’ve given Putnam Avenue a pretty good reason to slow down today!
