We’re not crying… okay, yes we are. We are absolutely crying. 😭🩵

This week is Valentina’s last week at Thrifty Bodega before she heads off to college and starts her next big adventure!

If you’ve shopped with us for a while, chances are you know Valentina. And if you know Valentina, you know exactly what makes her so special. 🥹 Her fun, vibrant personality, her contagious laugh, her kindness, and the energy she brings into the store have made Thrifty Bodega a happier place.

She has so many regular customers who come in just to see her, catch up with her, and laugh with her—and we know we aren’t the only ones who are going to miss her terribly. 💔

Watching our employees grow and move on to exciting new chapters is one of those bittersweet parts of owning a small business. We are SO excited for everything ahead of Valentina, but selfishly, we wish we could keep her forever. 😂😭

So this week, come by Thrifty Bodega and help us send our girl off! 🩵 Stop in, give her a hug, tell her goodbye, embarrass her a little 😂 and wish her luck as she heads off to college.
