π AN IMPORTANT SOT ANNOUNCEMENT π
This is probably one of the hardest posts Iβve ever had to write.
After a lot of thought, a lot of difficult conversations, and really looking at what the future of SOT needs to be, weβve made the decision to close our SOT store locations, with the exception of Hutchinson.
Our Woodland Hills location will have its final day September 13, and our remaining closing locations will have their final day September 25.
If youβve shopped with us over the last 4 years, you know what a wild ride this little business has been.
What started as one store grew into locations across multiple states. Thousands and thousands of pieces of clothing have moved through our doors, friendships have been made, incredible employees have become part of our SOT family, and there are more memories than I could ever fit into one Facebook post.
But the liquidation world has changed.
The type of sourcing that allowed us to fill these stores and offer the crazy SOT pricing you came to know us for simply isnβt available to us the way it once was.
And rather than keep trying to force a business model that no longer makes sense, I made the incredibly difficult decision to let this chapter come to an end.
To every employee who helped build these stores, every manager who poured their heart into them, and every customer who shopped with us, shared our posts, brought your friends, dug through our racks and believed in this crazy little ideaβ¦
Thank you.
You helped turn one little liquidation boutique into something bigger than I ever imagined.
And now weβre going to finish this chapter the only way SOT knows how. πποΈ
