Clamping the Sander down in the vice is is the best way to sand these small items.

Just don't sand your palm.

Flat spatulas are probably the easiest utensil to sand

Whisks are probably the most difficult.

Over at the belt Sander I round over the ends of the flat spatulas and give the buisness end a flatten little work.

This style of spatula is my most used in my own home.

Set up the compact router in the vise add a clamp on fence and go.

Putting a 1/8 round over on all the edges of the flat spatulas

I like the height this sits at. It's really the only reason I've not put a drop In for the router in this bench.

I made this taper jig specifically for doing this item.

Made marks for the small large and xl spatulas.

It has a pice of tape that pushes the cut off up and out of the way. Very advanced technology

Carving out a new spoon. Design with the kutzall burrs.
Still dreaming of a 5/8 burr.

Real time was just over a minute. Since it was a new design it took a bit longer. Usually I'm under a mini and can get 60 to 80 spoons carved out In an hour.
