The Crocheted Gnome

I made myself some arm warmers because when I crochet, cross stitch, or read, my hands and arms get cold but sometimes it’s too warm for a jacket. I love them! I modified a pattern by Lovable Loops because I have small hands and the standard adult sizing doesn’t work for me. I am excited to make more of these!

Well hey there! It’s been a while but I think I’m finally starting to get back into the swing of things and the creativity is flowing once again.

I recently got a Cricut and that has opened up the possibilities for all kinds of new crafting. I made some water bottle stickers a couple days ago and I’m loving how they turned out. I think stickers may be something I do a lot more regularly.

I wanted to make something tonight and decided to whip up this cute mini backpack. It will easily hold a set of dice, chapstick, change, guitar picks- the options are endless! I need to add a button to this and it’s ready to go.

I made myself a purple gnome hat to match my logo! The artist who drew my little gnome is my best friend’s talented daughter and I love it. She did a great job! You can see more from this talented teenager on Twitter.

I decided to work up a matching infinity scarf to go with the gnome hats.

I’m kind of obsessed with how these turned out! And bonus, my face is so warm in this cold, snowy weather.

As a side note, the beards are sewn into the hat, but if you want to wear the hat without the beard, it’s roomy enough you can tuck the beard inside and wear it normally. I’m all about versatility.
