I can remember feeling the way I did that put that look on my face

Trying to do simple tasks with a body 3/4 disconnected from the spinal cord

It was so frustrating. Discouraging.

If I could send a message back to that guy I'd tell him to keep fighting, you're doing better than you think. And to keep going because you're closer than you think. Better days are ahead

Thanks everyone who have helped me through my worst days.

I have been blessed with the best people in my life

Here's a throw way back to this brisk jaunt up mount Borah with my family (the ones foolish enough to undertake such endeavors 😅)

Time to the top was well under 2 hours

The experience of climbing a mountain that forces you to physical exhaustion and to use some technical thinking, along with the feeling that you get after having overcome the challenge and reach the summit, is a great life lesson. You'll always reach the summit if you keep going 💪

This is a sport I haven't found a great substitute for when using a wheelchair. Thankfully the Trackchair®️ gets up some pretty rough terrain, and there are some wheelchair accessible trails that get to some sweet places. There are also some pretty sweet all terrain manual chairs too. Maybe someday I'll rig up a system that lets me army crawl up places 😅

Cockatoo, guinea, golden pheasant, Kingfisher, turkey and macaw all contributed to this one

Mount was a little clunky but the fly turned out pretty good as far as my flies anyway
