My parents have only wanted me to be one thing: happy. Whether your child is autistic or not, don't push your wants onto them. I see this sentiment go around often:

If you're not ready to have a disabled, neurodivergent, or a q***r child, then don't have children.

I would like to change that. If you're not ready to ACCEPT a disabled, neurodivergent or q***r child then don't have children. My parents probably weren't ready for me, but they accepted me, loved me, gave me the love and guidance I needed. That's what was important.

Please like, share and follow! It really helps support me!

FREE WORKSHOP: The Goldilocks Guide to Conversation

💬Conversation leads to connection...

It’s the ignition to social connections and eventually deeper relationships. It’s how we get to know one another, make friends, clear up misunderstandings, and build social lives that fulfill us.

It all starts with that first conversation.

But when you struggle with your conversational skills, it can be difficult coming up with what to say, figuring out if you’re saying too much, and reading the social cues of the other person. When you struggle with the basics, moving things towards a deeper relationship can seem impossible.

You’re not alone and you’re not broken!

If you’re anything like I used to be, you get a little (or a lot) nervous at the thought of talking to someone new, because those pesky thoughts start to race through your head:

🧠“They stopped talking. Should I say something, or is the conversation over?”
🧠“Oh no! It’s my turn to talk. How do I keep the conversation going?”
🧠“I think I’ve been talking long enough, but I can’t tell. Should I stop and let them have a turn yet?”
🧠“What should we even talk about?”

You don’t need to be a social skills expert; you just need a little help with the conversational basics.

That’s exactly what this short yet powerful workshop will help you learn; the conversational basics you need to make more meaningful connections!

Here’s what we’ll cover:

✅Thinking of what to say in the moment when you run out of words
✅Figuring out when you’re talking too much
✅Feeling the typical ebb and flow of a balanced conversation
✅Reading important social cues

It’s free, short, and will include some time for Q&A towards the end, so come ready with questions!
