POSTPONED - Pride Under The Pines

**Dear Pride Under The Pines Family,**
Pride celebrations throughout the country are more than events on a calendar. They are places where our community can come together, be visible, celebrate who we are, honor those who came before us, and remind one another that we belong.
Here in Idyllwild, that sense of community has always felt especially meaningful.
Since its beginning, Pride Under The Pines has brought LGBTQ+ pride, celebration, music, entertainment, and community to the beautiful mountain town of Idyllwild. What started as a vision to create a unique Pride experience beneath the pines has grown into an incredibly successful and much-loved event. Year after year, guests have traveled up the mountain to celebrate with us, and together we have created memories and moments that have made Pride Under The Pines something truly special.
We are enormously proud of what Pride Under The Pines has become, and we are grateful to every guest, artist, sponsor, vendor, volunteer, community member, and team member who has helped us get here.
It is because we care so deeply about this event—and about the experience we promise to deliver—that we need to share an important update.
**Pride Under The Pines will be postponed and will move to May 2027.**
This decision was not made lightly.
As we continued planning this year's event, we encountered several major scheduling conflicts involving the talent we are booking, venue availability, and the schedules of key members of our production team. October is an incredibly busy month, with many events taking place at the same time. This creates significant competition for the availability of performers, production crews, venues, vendors, and other resources necessary to produce an event of this size and quality.
We explored our options carefully. Ultimately, we kept coming back to the same question: Can we deliver the Pride Under The Pines experience at the level our community has come to expect and deserves?
Our answer was that, under the current circumstances, we could not confidently make that promise.
Our core mission has always been clear: To bring you the BEST Pride experience we can possibly produce.
We are not willing to compromise that promise simply to keep a date on the calendar. You deserve the energy, entertainment, production, talent, atmosphere, and attention to detail that have made Pride Under The Pines so special. If we cannot deliver that experience at the high standard we expect of ourselves—and that you should expect from us—then moving the event is the responsible decision.
For that reason,
Pride Under The Pines will return in MAY 2027.
An exact date will be announced as soon as it is finalized.
What happens to your ticket?
All current ticket holders will automatically keep their tickets, and those tickets will be honored for the new Pride Under The Pines date in May 2027. You do not need to take any action if you would like to join us in May.
If the new timing does not work for you, we completely understand. Refund requests can be submitted by emailing [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
The refund option will remain available through October 17, 2026. After October 17, your existing ticket will automatically be converted into a valid ticket for Pride Under The Pines in May 2027.
We sincerely hope everyone understands why we have made this decision. We know that postponing an event people have been looking forward to is disappointing, and we share that disappointment. But we also believe that protecting the quality, spirit, and integrity of Pride Under The Pines is more important than producing an event that falls short of what we know it can be.
This is not goodbye. It simply means we have a little longer to make the next Pride Under The Pines everything it deserves to be.

The pines will still be here. The Pride will be stronger than ever. And in May 2027, we cannot wait to welcome you back up the mountain.
