For the next two upcoming holidays, here are some important details:

I will be in the Fourth of July parade in Idyllwild starting at 10 AM. The parade lasts about an hour, sometimes closer to 90 minutes and sometimes closer to 45 minutes. When the parade is over, I will be back downtown for the regular visiting with the public parked at Wooley’s. I will also have Deputy Co-Mayor Mitzi and Vice Mayor Meadow with me, and you can meet all of us, and we would love to see you.

Our parade is wonderful and like stepping back in time. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country. We are very proud to be part of this!

Then, on the Labor Day weekend, September 5, Meadow’s and my four-year birthday party is being celebrated from 12 to 3 PM at Mountain Paws. We have free food and entertainment, and you will love the music and the fun birthday party snacks. All your good family, friends, associates, and pets are welcome!

We will be deputizing all the children and the pets, and you will get your free Mayor Max tie and your Deputy Mayor Certificate making you and your family part of the Mayor‘s office. It also puts all of you on my Peace on Earth Team initiative, POET, where we ask you to be loving all the time, don’t take the bait on hate, and the next time you feel like you want to clobber somebody, we ask you to hold back until you have a loving heart and communicate only from love. The reason is, it is only positive energy that leads towards life, well-being, and the excellent survival potential of everyone. Negative energy is the exact opposite, and it’s best if you don’t contribute to negative energy on the planet.

All of us can help create peace on Earth for everyone by using the discipline of maintaining a loving heart no matter how difficult.

Hello Everyone!

I want you to know that after 3 1/2 years of continual trying, I will now finally wear a cowboy hat with no problem. In my last four downtown visits with the public, I have now been out in the public wearing my cowboy hat successfully all four days in a row!

For 3 1/2 years, I didn’t get it. Phyllis and/or Glenny would put a cowboy hat on my head, and I would always put my head down, knock the hat off my head, and then shred the hat. But Phyllis and Glenny never gave up, and so four days ago, I just sat peacefully when the hat went on my head.

I hope you think I look cute wearing a cowboy hat! This picture was taken on Easter when I was wearing Easter colors.

I hope you think I look cute in my cowboy hat. Visitors seemed to really like it, so it made me happy to make them happy.

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and that you were able to eat lots of chocolate and other fun things. I have never had chocolate, but I do love vanilla ice cream! And it puts a big smile in my heart when I get a Dairy Queen gift card in the mail! LOL
