Alright yall. For those that have stuck around, curious if I'd ever get it together enough to start again, hopefully smarter and wiser, your faith is rewarded. Meet the Conrad 40127 Matsumoku (MIJ) made in the 70's was not one of their top teir brands like their legendary custom shop, but it was definately up there. OM sized, she's also "short" scaled, my prefered length of 24.75, like a Gibson as opposed to a Fender thats 25.5. What doed 3/4 of an inch over that long of a span get you? Easier fret distance for smaller hands and better able to handle heavier strings but for big hands, there is a reason the Strat is the hands down king of master kings of the axe..they all have massive paws and the longer scale = wider fret spacing that larger hands can fret easier. Personaly, it's because I love LP's and prefer to have "one scale to rule them all" for easier transition
Idk if anyone learned anything or if anyone will even read it after such a long journey to the new me, but I'm derermined to kick a hole in the sky and never look back
Stay tuned
