🐾 Hero Dogs of 9/11 🇺🇸
Today, we remember not only the lives lost and the human heroes who ran toward danger, but also the four-legged heroes who worked tirelessly through the rubble, smoke and devastation.
Search-and-rescue dogs like Bretagne, Apollo and Riley, along with hundreds of other working dogs, searched Ground Zero, supported exhausted rescue workers and brought comfort during unimaginable grief.
They were rescuers, companions and quiet symbols of hope when hope was desperately needed. 🐾❤️
Briggs and our family remember them today. 🇺🇸
May we never forget the heroes on two legs and four.
