Guys, can we talk please? Can we have a little bit of an uncomfortable conversation?

What is going on with our Magic the Gathering community? I really don’t understand. We got back into the WPN because a lot of people were asking us to. We went through the trouble of doing it, we promoted we were back in, and we have as you can see, the original post that had quite a lot of excitement and engagement. People said they were going to play here, and initially, we did get a few, but already we are struggling to get players to actually play Magic in the shop.

Don’t get me wrong. Sales are great. We’re not going anywhere and we are not gonna stop carrying Magic, but why is it we can never seem to get players out here anymore?

We used to have one of THE Magic communities in Brevard. And for years we have been working to revive that. We love Magic. We love our players. We miss how fun it was to run events.

Here we are, on an opening night for a Magic set, a HYPED Magic set, and we have one person for draft.

One.

One single person showed up.

Where are all the people that said they were excited to play? Why is everyone radio silent? Why is it no one is drafting here at Ready. Set. Game on Fridays?

Please. Give me some feedback. We offer events every single Friday at 7pm for draft. We have fair pricing and great prize support. Nothing has changed there.

We have a lot going on here, including restocks of Destined Rivals, a couple odd and end Ascended Heroes products, Legendary Warriors Premium Collections and a full line of Japanese Boosters restocked, including Delta Emeralda packs!

You really are going to want to make Ready. Set. Game a stop to or from wherever you’re going!
