2020 has brought changes for businesses everywhere and we are happy to announce, and officially introduce you to, the new owner of the kayaking and livery side of BrassWind Landing, Stacie Scherman. Stacie is a kayaker, cyclist and entrepreneur who dreamed of having a kayak shop and outdoor adventure business. We have know her since 2013, when she started renting kayaks from us for the Indian River Biathlon. We are happy to see that the tradition of offering quality kayaks and paddle boards rentals and adventures with personal service, will continue. Sheree Lincoln and Richard Lincoln bought the old sign shop in Indian river in 2011. After a major renovation to the building they started doing river trips and rentals. Both Richard and Sheree were involved with the community serving on boards and volunteering for local events. They are now exploring other adventures. Congratulations to Stacie of Nor'East Outdoors formerly BrassWind Landing - Arts and Adventure Paddlesports. Our website will start redirecting to hers. In the meantime visit her website at www.nor-eastoutdoors.com for kayak and SUP rental information. Announcements about what's happening with the BrassWind Landing building coming soon.

In the meantime Lincoln has decided to go back to teaching school and is exploring new adventures. Sheree is teaching paddle boarding and giving guide tours through her business Sea Dog Eco Tours in Fort Myers Beach Florida.

We thank you for your patronage and have enjoyed meeting all of you and wish you the best.Richard is teaching school and enjoying other adventures in South Dakota and Sheree is sailing and running her paddle boarding business, Sea Dog Eco Tours in Florida. Be safe and be well.

Be safe and be healthy. BrassWind Landing will not be opening for the 2020 season. Thinking ahead to the summer season and thinking of Indian River and all of our kayaking fans during this Covid-19 debacle we want to wish you well and share that we are pursuing other adventures. There is a business opportunity for someone who wants to own and operate an established kayak, canoe and paddle board livery or to buy a very cool building with an apartment and develop some other business in Northern Michigan. Maybe AirBNB or apartments in the quaint village of Indian River. Contact Richard Lincoln on the BrassWind Landing reservation line at 231-753-8029 for more information.
