I think TikTok just trying to kill me. Popping up on my just in time to think about what I wanted to wear to BUTTER Fine Art Fair was Hertunba by Florentina and I thought this would be perfect completely forgetting how utterly molten it traditionally is. It did take three months to get here so it might've slipped my mind. I was determined to wear it, despite this thing weighing about 20 pounds and lucky me didn't have to be hospitalized for heat stroke. Judith Leiber snake clutch. I hope I've learned my lesson, but we'll see about next year.

We were hilariously captured by the event photog. If you're unfamiliar, this is a monthly show night that is extremely inclusive and plays both old and new highly depressing yet totally danceable emo/goth/dark wave sets. When you are an you can wear pastels to Goth night SPELLBOUND. To be fair, it was a pretty sheer top and not shown is a harness from Wolf & Badger, olive green multi zipper leather skirt, pink and (duh) DocMartens.. The White Rabbit Cabaret

I'm kind of a theme dresser so my outfit of choice Field Museum to see an exhibit of cartoons in a completely made up scenario Pokémon calls for maybe a little whimsy and unexpectedness. Giant linen polka dot pants fit the bill as well as ZARA peplum jacket worn as a top and silly Converse bunny feet ish shoes. Not enough time for a lot of shopping, Chicago But I did enough to know I never want to go into the Harry Potter store ever again and Nordstrom shoe department is > Neiman Marcus

It looks like the IMA Newfields going to take their textile fashion archive seriously again and is looking for a curator . One of their bigger donks if you ask me, was regaling the entire department to storage for a mass psychosis carney ride. Don't even get me started on the dissolution of all the alliances. Anyway, here's me at the Artful Party standing in front of the last thing,the Fashion Art Society purchased for the collection before we got the boot hence the squinchey face. Wearing archival 3.1 Phillip Lim 2017 postmodern futurism collection dress, Sandler top that I'm pretty sure it's actually a swimsuit, Whiting & Davis chainmail snake clutch, and shoes unknown that I bought literally 30 years ago in New Orleans with fiancé number four. Yes, I went to Atlanta for less than 24 hours during the uncertainty of a blizzard to look at art. More specifically, fashion art, which would be the retrospective of Viktor&Rolf runway designs. And yes, it was worth it . The art and the craft and a complete mythology and storyline of every collection, was just unbelievable Can you wear the stuff? Yes. Would you want to? Probably not it looks tremendously uncomfortable, but oh my God what a statement at the BBQ. Of course, once I decided to go, I had to buy myself some V&R to wear for the occasion. I got some crêpe pants with sculptural bunched fabric at the hem and a voluminous draped waist trench coat which flew behind me quite dramatically as I raced up the stairs to the . Paired with some Fluevog heels, that I still need to stretch out, and an aggressively striped French cuffed blouse. I mean if you care. There's a full video on my TikTok and also an explanation of why you can only buy ready to wear on the secondary market as opposed to a runway piece, which may be kind of sad.

There are actually so many outfit choices when you get invited to a party. You can do kitsch -LITE or chic Saturday Night Fever. OR you can go for Studio 54 coke lady. Which I did. It's all vintage except for the tabi silver platforms. Happy Birthday !!!
